Indoor Bike Relay Raises More Than $1,800 For Alzheimer's Association
Belmont Village Johns Creek and Belmont Village Buckhead hosted the Bike to End Alzheimer's event at their communities on June 21.

JOHNS CREEK, GA - From the desk of Belmont Village: In an effort to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimerβs Association, Belmont Village Johns Creek and Belmont Village Buckhead hosted the Bike to End Alzheimerβs event at their communities on June 21. The event was a 12-hour indoor, stationary bike relay held on the longest day of the year to symbolize the challenging journey those with the disease and their caregivers face every day. Participants took turns riding a stationary bike for a minimum donation with the goal of have a person on a bike at all times.
The Bike to End Alzheimerβs fundraiser was Belmont Villageβs nationwide event to kick-off fundraising for the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimerβs and meet our national team fundraising goal of $100,000. Combined, the two Belmont Village Atlanta-area communities raised more than $1800 which benefits the Alzheimerβs Association 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's Gwinnett County and Greater Atlanta. Company-wide, Belmont Village raised more than $20,000 across the 24 communities and corporate office.
