Auto Break-Ins, DUI Arrests On The Rise
The Johns Creek Police Department also reported 190 traffic accidents in November. Find out where the worst intersections for collisions are in Johns Creek.
Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.
Here are the November numbers:
6,872 - Total calls for service
87 - Total arrests
27 - Total car break-ins
13 - Total burglaries
19 - DUIs
190 - Traffic accidents
Top 5 intersections for accidents:
1. Medlock Bridge & State Bridge (13)
2. Jones Bridge & State Bridge (12)
3. Medlock Bridge & Old Alabama (6)
4. Medlock Bridge and Medlock Crossing (5)
5. Medlock Bridge & Hospital Parkway (5)
Most accidents were caused by following too closely and occurred on Thursday evenings (4-6 p.m.) in clear weather. 26% reported injuries; there were no fatalities.
Burglaries (13): Feather Sound Court, Timberstone Road, River Ferry Drive, Merganser Lane, Cralyn Court, Brumbelow Crossing Way, Barsham Way, Wheeler Peak Way, Ridge Hill Drive, Wellsley Road, S. Falcon Bluff, River Trace Drive, Glen Ferry Drive.
Car break-ins (27): Meadows Lane, State Bridge Road (2), Medlock Bridge Road (3), Old Alabama Road, Cameron Bridge Way, Buice Road (4), Rogers Circle, Medlock Bridge Parkway, Old Preston Trail, Serrant Court, Rosedown Way (4), Westwell Run (7)
