Paving of Medlock Bridge Pkwy, Johns Creek Pkwy Begins This Week, Delays Expected

'Minor delays' are expected as paving of two busy roads begins Tuesday and Thursday.

The City of Johns Creek warns residents and commuters that delays are to be expected as paving of two busy roads begins this week.

On Tuesday, paving of Medlock Bridge Parkway, from Ga. 141 to the Medlock Bridge Subdivision, will begin.

Thursday, paving of Johns Creek Parkway will begin.

The project includes milling, patching, paving and a final cleanup of the roadway within the project area.

"Please anticipate minor delays traveling towards Medlock Bridge Parkway -- however, ingress and egress will be allowed at all times," the City posted on its Facebook page Tuesday morning.

The City pointed out that traffic flow from Medlock Bridge Road on Grove Point Road and Wilson Road will not be impacted by the paving operation.
