Robber In Bathrobe Caught On Video In Johns Creek: Report

Johns Creek police are warning local businesses about robber who struck Waffle House: media report.

JOHNS CREEK, GA β€” The Johns Creek police are looking for a man who was caught on video robbing a local Waffle House while wearing a bathrobe, according to media reports. Police believe the same man also robbed a gas station later the same day, WSB-TV Channel 2 reported.

The first robbery occurred at about 2 a.m. on Feb. 21 at the Waffle House on Jones Bridge Road, say police. In the surveillance video, the robber is armed, wearing a bathrobe and a long scarf over his face.

The clerk gave him about $300 from the cash register, say police.

On the following evening, a police spokesman said the same man stole about $700 in a robbery at a Shell station on State Bridge Road.

The spokesman told Channel 2 that the police have warned local businesses about the robber, who was seen on foot.
