Chartered by Congress, Civil Air Patrol is the longtime all-volunteer U.S. Air Force auxiliary and part of the USAF Total Force, with units in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C.

While on the visit, cadets met with Major Jason Markzon, the Thunderbirds’ advance pilot and narrator. Maj. Markzon answered questions from the cadets, ages 12-16, many of whom want to serve as pilots in the United States Air Force.
