CobbLinc Introduces Wi-Fi, App Other Tech Upgrades

In an effort to make the ride more accessible, CobbLinc Introduces several tech improvements, including Wi-Fi and a mobile app.

KENNESAW, GA -- Riders of CobbLinc, Cobb County's transit system, will enjoy some new amenities as part of upgrades rolled out to commuters, the county announced Monday.

The technological upgrades include Wi-Fi, new vehicle tracking information and an improved bus locator webpage with corresponding mobile app, transit officials said.

The new app, CobbLinc BusTime, is available in Apple's App Store as well as Android's Google Play Store.

“The incorporation of technology reinforces CobbLinc’s commitment to create a user-friendly experience for commuters,” Transit Division Manager Vida Covington said in a statement. “CobbLinc takes pride in adapting with our community and establishing new ways to access transit information.”
