Drug Take Back Day Offers Two Kennesaw Drop Off Locations

KENNESAW, GA -- If you have leftover or extra medications are taking up space in your cabinet, there are multiple places and agencies that will take it off your hands.

Bring any prescription and non-prescription drugs to:

No liquids or sharps/needles are accepted. This is a free service.

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.

According to the 2017 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 6 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs. The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
