Harrison Opens the Season On A Winning Note
Harrison Boys hang on for win, & Lady Hoyas start strong with 54-32 win over Kell.
Lady Hoyas started strong against the quick and physical Lady Longhorns. They stretched the lead in the second half with strong outside shooting and great defense, winning 54 - 32.
The Harrison Boys Basketball team was in a see-saw battle all game long, with the teams staying within 10 points of each other. Kell fought back in the final minute to tie the game at 50. With 2.8 seconds to go in the game, Harrison’s Brandon Powell was sent to the foul line where he sank both shots to take the lead and the team held on to win 52-50. Â
