Inaugural Camp McDonald Day Tickets Now On Sale!

‘Inaugural Camp McDonald Day Events: Thursday, June 11 and Saturday, June 13, 2015. On Thursday evening at 5:30, Civil War historian Michael K. Shaffer will discuss the history of Camp McDonald at the Southern Museum in Kennesaw. Tickets for this special kickoff program are $25 each, and can be purchased at www.campmcdonaldpark.org. On Saturday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and running until dark, visit the actual camp site in downtown Kennesaw for guided tours, period reenactors, and various living history displays! Free admission for Saturday’s activities.
