Kennesaw Athlete Signs Commitment Letter With Georgia State
Lexi Bates will play softball for the Panthers starting in the 2015-16 school year.

Congratulations to Lexi Bates, Senior at Mount Paran Christian School on her recent commitment and Scholarship to play D1 softball at Georgia State University. Lexi was a 4 year Starter on the Varsity team, named defensive and offensive player of the year and received the golden glove award. Lexi helped lead her team to a State Championship runner up title, two back to back Region Championships and the Elite 8 three years in a row and the final four two times. Lexi lead the Region this year in slugging percentage with a .883 and finished the season with a top batting average of .512. She is a two time First Team All-Region recipient and is an Athlete Scholar Award Recipient. She is a member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars and was nominated for Georgia’s Positive Athlete. She is excited to be a Panther and Major in Psychology!
With Lexi at her signing day were Mentor CJ Stewart, father Matt Brown, mother Barbie Brown, and travel coach Rick Jagle.
