Kennesaw Motorcycle Driver Dies After Wreck: Police
A 19-year-old male from Kennesaw died Friday after his motorcycle collided with an SUV on East Cherokee Drive, officials said.
KENNESAW, GA — A 19-year-old male from Kennesaw died Friday after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Cherokee County.
Cherokee Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Friday afternoon at 5:18 p.m. to an accident on East Cherokee Drive at Mill Creek Road involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Evidence at the scene indicated the motorcycle struck the stopped SUV from behind at a high rate of speed, the Sheriff's Office said.

The 19-year-old male driver of the motorcycle from Kennesaw was transported to Wellstar Kennestone hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released due to pending notification of family, the department said.
No one in the SUV was injured.

The accident is being investigated by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit
