Kennesaw Tree Lighting Postponed to Thursday

The official tree lighting planned for downtown Kennesaw tonight, Nov. 29 has been postponed due to the expectation of bad weather.

From the City of Kennesaw: The official tree lighting ceremony planned for downtown Kennesaw on Tuesday, November 29 has been postponed due to the expectation of unsettled weather. Mayor Easterling and other city officials will illuminate the official Christmas tree on Thursday, December 1 at the pedestrian underpass plaza directly across from Revival on Main in downtown Kennesaw.

The free program begins at 6 pm and will include festive choral music and sing-along, light refreshments, and plenty of holiday cheer.
