KSU Continuing Education to have free information session on July 18

Program instructors will discuss opportunities for career growth, national certifications and more

A free information session about the Payroll Professional Certificate at KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education will be held Tuesday, July 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at KSU Center (room 220), 3333 Busbee Drive in Kennesaw. Program instructors will be available to answer questions about the courses and the payroll business. They will discuss opportunities for career growth, national certifications and more.

The Payroll Professional Certificate program is comprised of two courses: Payroll Fundamentals and Payroll Mastery. New payroll professionals and those who support the payroll industry will benefit from the Payroll Fundamentals course. Payroll Mastery is a comprehensive course that provides students with a solid understanding of advanced payroll topics. Experienced payroll professionals seeking compliance training and professional development will benefit from this course. The Payroll Mastery course is also ideal for those getting ready for their Certified Payroll Professional certification.

“After being laid off, I knew I needed to sharpen and update my skills,” said Daphne Martin, program graduate. “My confidence grew, my knowledge grew and skill level soared. I chose KSU because KSU offered a foundation and the start of a new career.”
