KSU Expands Campus With Purchase
Kennesaw State University has bought more land on Busbee Parkway, though a final purpose for the land hasn't been determined yet.

KENNESAW, GA --Â Kennesaw State University has grown its land holdings in its home city by purchasing the former site of a day care center on Busbee Parkway.
The Georgia Board of Regents approved a $875,000 purchase of 1.02 acres at 3051 George Busbee Parkway, the university said in an announcement. A Kids R Kids day care center once operated on the site inside a 12,320 sq. ft. building with adjacent parking.
The purchase brings the size of KSU’s Kennesaw campus to 384 acres, according to the university.

The newly-purchased land is adjacent to the KSU Sports and Entertainment Park and the former BrandsMart USA building, which the university purchased and currently uses as a marching band facility.
Planners are now working to determine the future of the newly-acquired site.
