Michael 'Fireball' Shuler, 52

Mr. Michael Harold “Fireball” Shuler, age 52, of Kennesaw, GA died Saturday, December 12, 2015.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 15 at 2 p.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Shuler will lie in state at the church from 1 pm until the service hour.

He was a graduate of Sprayberry High School class of 1981.

Fireball served as a Fireman/Paramedic in Cobb, Cherokee and Douglas County Fire Departments, as well as Puckett, Metro and Clarke Ambulance Services.

He is survived by his wife Theresa Colbert Shuler; parents, Harold Shuler & Jerrie Shuler Lockett; children, Heather Shuler & Chris Felcyn; Hannah Shuler and Andrew Shuler; step children, Ashley O’Dell Smith, William O’Dell and Erika O’Dell and two grandchildren Rileigh & Lucus Smith. Siblings, Paula & David Fielder; Pamela & Chris Lane;Hank & Pat Bray, Lisa & Rickey Harvey and sixteen nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Suite 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. (770) 424-4924.
