In Loving Memory of Miranda Mary Alexander, 85

Obituary and service information from Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.

Miranda Mary Alexander, age 85, of Kennesaw passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.

She was born to Percy George Case and Alice Bertha Potter Case on January 19, 1930 in London, England. Mrs. Alexander had a twin sister, Georgina, who was 10 minutes older. She later met and married her husband, Benjamin “Ben” Alexander. The couple had a daughter together, Mary Victoria, affectionately known as Tori. Their family later grew to include three grandchildren, Ryan, Megan Elizabeth, and Tori Lynn.

Mrs. Alexander was the kind of person that everyone loved to be around - she was always in good spirits and never uttered a cross word. She disciplined with a feather as it was her nature to be gentle and kind. She prided herself on being selfless and thinking of others. The community that knew her would light up as they saw her because she found a way to sincerely touch people.

Mrs. Alexander was a strong Christian and helped her husband, Ben, in their ministries. They traveled all over the world spreading God’s word and helping those less fortunate. They both were blessed with great health and were able to continue helping others into their later years.

Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Alice Case. She is survived by her loving husband, Ben Alexander of Kennesaw; daughter, Tori Sturz and her husband, Gregg Sturz, of Kennesaw; twin sister, Georgina Wooten-Case; three grandchildren, Ryan Sturz of Kennesaw, Megan Elizabeth Perry of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Tori Lynn Sturz of Madeira Beach, Florida; and Stewart Alexander.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Northwest Christian Church 3737 Dallas Acworth Highway NW Acworth, Georgia 30101 with Rev. Jay Rice and Rev. Ron Mobley officiating. A Reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
