In Loving Memory of Miriam 'Micky' Brown, 78

Miriam H. Brown, (Micki), 78, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 07, 2015 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Micki, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on July 02, 1937 in Marietta, Georgia. She was surrounded by family members, husband, Charles; sons, Robert/Zane and David; daughter in law, Theresa; sister in law, Sarah King; and nephew, Tommy King as she peacefully transitioned into the arms of our heavenly Father.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mayes Ward – Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia with Reverend Randy Brooks of Marietta Church of God officiating. The family will receive family and friends between 6:00 PM and 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery following the funeral services.

Micki is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Brown; sons, Robert/Zane and David; daughter in law, Theresa Brown; grandchildren, Grace Brown, Luke Brown and Faith Brown. Micki was preceded in death by her daughter, Miriam Regina Brown who passed away on May 06, 1991 and now re-united once again in the presence of our holy Father.

Micki was a wife, mother, grandmother and artist who loved to travel the world. She was baptized in the River Jordan on September 17, 2004 and she and husband, Charles traveled together through the Holy Lands and had many other joyous adventures together throughout their 60 years together. Flowers are joyously accepted or in lieu of flowers you can make financial donations to the “Make a Wish” foundation or “Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
