In Loving Memory of Robert Austin Echols, 89

Robert Austin Echols of Kennesaw, GA died Monday, October 26, 2015. Robert, a lifelong Atlanta area resident, was the son of John and Vera Echols. He was born January 13, 1926. His brothers, Walter, Raymond, and Hubert preceded him in death as did his sister Thelma Elder. Robert’s wife Jessie preceded him in death as did his son Michael. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Lynn Parks, his sons Richard, Steven, and Bradley Echols, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robert was a WWII Navy veteran, an active member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 72, and built homes in which he took great pride for many Atlanta area families. Mostly, he was a great father and teacher to his children.
