In Loving Memory of Ross R. Kinsella, 86

Ross R. Kinsella, 86, of Kennesaw, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at 9:00 on Monday morning in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

Mr. Kinsella was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Kennesaw for 22 years. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and retired in 1979 from the New York City Police Department where he served as a detective. Mr. Kinsella was a member of the Acworth Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Linda (John) O’Reilly of Brooklyn, NY; son, George (Kathy) Kinsella of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Elizabeth Kinsella and George Ross (Lauren) Kinsella, both of Kennesaw, and John O’Reilly III of Brooklyn, NY; great granddaughter, Evelyn Grace Kinsella of Kennesaw; cousin, James Manuel of Monroe, NY; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Acworth Presbyterian Church 4561 Church St. Acworth, GA 30101. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
