Mostly Mutts "Flea" Market Donation Drive starts February 22

The 11th Annual "Flea" Market will be located at the intersection of Wade Green and Highway 92 in Acworth (the building used to be a CVS)

The Mostly Mutts “Flea” Market spring fundraiser is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and a great opportunity to donate your unwanted items to a worthy cause. Each year, for the past ten years, this fundraiser has helped Mostly Mutts save more homeless pets in our community. Beginning Friday, February 22 at 12:00 pm, your donations can be dropped off at 6065 Highway 92 in Acworth (at the intersection of Wade Green Road).

Accepted items include (but are not limited to): Furniture, collectibles, antiques, china, crystal, kitchen supplies, tools, jewelry, art, pet supplies, handbags, accessories, books, small appliances in good working order, games, toys, storage/organizational items, office supplies, sports equipment, garden décor, scarves, belts, video games, record albums, DVDs, Christmas décor, and clothing in good condition. They are unable to accept computers, televisions, major appliances, large electronics, mattresses, cribs and car seats. Please do not bring your donated items to the rescue facility. For questions about the event, hours, and accepted items, please email fleamarket@mostlymutts.org.

“We are very excited about this year’s location, which is easy to find and has great visibility. Now is the time to clean out your attic, basement and garage and donate your sellable items to help the mutts and kitties,” said Tammy Turley, Executive Director. “We provide tax receipts, and also look forward to welcoming all the shoppers who love bargains.”

Mostly Mutts strives to reduce the number of animals euthanized at local shelters in Metro Atlanta by working with animal control officers to save adoptable dogs that are moments away from being put to sleep. Often, these dogs are sick, injured and require rehabilitation. Mostly Mutts provides housing, health care, training, and physical and emotional care to these rescued animals until they can be placed in a new “furever home.”
