Today (March 25) we remember those who have bravely served, on this National Medal of Honor Day! The first recipients - members of ‘The Andrews Raid.’ The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History houses two of the medals awarded for this action, including the one shown, given to Sergeant John M. Scott, Co. F, 21st Ohio Volunteers. Learn more about this exciting wartime action on April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the outdoor amphitheater in downtown Kennesaw.
