President Of Aeronautics Company Convicted Of Molesting 2 Girls

MARIETTA, GA -- A Kennesaw businessman has been ordered to prison after being convicted of molesting two little girls. On Friday, after a weeklong trial, a Cobb jury convicted Andrew Wing, now 60, of molesting two female relatives between 2012 and 2015. The girls were 8 years old and 10 years old when the abuse was disclosed.

In November 2016, the older child was witnessed grabbing Wing's penis and her mother scolded her. She responded, “But he does it to me.” Both girls were forensically interviewed and confirmed that Wing had touched their genitals on multiple occasions. They indicated that they thought it was a tickling game at the time, but both gave descriptive demonstrations of how he rubbed their vaginas when he was alone with them after bath time.

“This trial demonstrated the ugly truth about sexual abuse: Most often children are abused by someone they love who exploits their position of trust in a child’s life,” said ADA Katie Gropper of the Special Victims Unit. “This verdict demonstrates that we no longer live in a society where children who are abused by family members have to suffer in the darkness of silence.”

Wing has been sentenced to a total of 30 years, with 10 years to serve in custody. Wing had been free on bond but was returned to custody on Friday, after the verdict.

Wing is president of Ezekiel Aeronautics.
