'Stuff-A-Bus Returns' Next Week

Find out how you can donate money, non-perishable food, and other gifts for low-income local families.

Santa and his sleigh may be responsible for distributing gifts on Christmas Eve, but Cobb Christmas, Inc., the Cobb County DOT and Cobb Community Transit (CCT) are working together to collect gifts from generous people who want to bring a brighter holiday season to the county’s needy.

The ”Stuff-A-Bus” program, which uses a CCT bus as a “reverse sleigh,” will return in full force on Dec. 3 and continue until Friday, Dec. 11.

Stuff-A-Bus is looking for donations of money, gift cards, toys, non-perishable food, and other goodies, which will in turn be given to low-income families at Cobb Christmas’ Annual Distribution event.

Though the bus will begin collecting goods on Thursday, it won’t make an appearance in Kennesaw until Monday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon. The bus will be parked at Stevie B’s Town Center.
