Teens Hit By Car In Front Of Wheeler High School
Two Cobb County teens are in the hospital after being hit by a car in front of Wheeler High School.
KENNESAW, GA -- Two teens were taken to the hospital March 9 after they were hit by a car while crossing Holt Road.
The Cobb County Police Department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Unit is investigating the collision that occurred shortly after at 7 p.m.
Investigators said a black 2007 Mercedes Benz SLK350 operated by Nancy Valentine, 73 of Marietta, was traveling north on Holt Road approaching the crosswalk between Wheeler High School and the old location of East Cobb Middle School. Two juvenile pedestrians in their late teens were crossing the crosswalk. As the juvenile pedestrians crossed into the northbound lanes of Holt Road, the Mercedes Benz collided with both of them.

The two pedestrians were transported to Kennestone Hospital, one with life threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries.
