Warrant: Kennesaw Man Bails on Repairs
The homeowner wrote checks in the amount of $1,200 on April 2, $1,000 on April 5, $400 on April 8 and $300 on April 13, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

A man allegedly received nearly $3,000 to complete repairs on a Kennesaw home, but never returned to finish the work.
The homeowner hired James Edward Wallace to complete repairs on the outside of his home in the 3900 block of Lorien Wayon on April 2. The homeowner wrote checks in the amount of $1,200 on April 2, $1,000 on April 5, $400 on April 8 and $300 on April 13.
"The repairs to the house are only 1/8 complete and the accused has not returned to complete the repairs," according to a Cobb County criminal warrant. "As of May 8, the accused has not returned to complete the repairs which he had already been paid."

Wallace is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond on a charge of conversion of payments for real property improvements, according to online jail records.
He listed the Superior Creek Lodge as his address.
