Apartment Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Arrested: Roswell Police
Roswell Police said a man was shot and killed, and another arrested, Monday during an "ongoing dispute" at a local apartment complex.
ROSWELL, GA — One man is dead and another in jail after a shooting at a Roswell apartment complex on Monday.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., Roswell officers were dispatched to Grove Way Apartments about a "weapons incident."
Officers located a male victim who had been shot and was unconscious. An ambulance took the man to a local hospital in critical condition. At the hospital, the man was pronounced dead.

The name of the deceased will be released after next of kin is notified.
The Roswell Police Department Criminal Investigations Division was notified and responded to the scene.

A second man was detained and later arrested. He was identified as Joshua McNair, 27, of Roswell, and was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of or attempt to commit certain crimes.
McNair is being held at Fulton County Jail.
Police said it appears this was the result of an ongoing dispute between the two men. This is an active investigation and details may change as more information is uncovered, police said.
