Leadership North Fulton Recognizes 2021 Graduates

The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. has recognized the 20-person cohort of the Leadership North Fulton class of 2021.

NORTH FULTON, GA — The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. has recognized the 20-person cohort of Leadership North Fulton, who graduated on June 29. Leadership North Fulton identifies and develops leaders in the North Fulton area by promoting community awareness, instilling civic responsibility and building relationships.

The program year began in-person in September 2020. Even through a challenging year, participants learned about key regional elements such as economic and workforce development, education, healthcare, technology and public safety, among other areas of focus.

“Staci Hutto (Leadership North Fulton Co-Chair) and I commend the class of 2021 on their commitment to Leadership North Fulton, not only to gaining an in-depth knowledge of the multi-faceted North Fulton area and its pillars of the community, but also in doing so together to grow relationships and learn as a team. The class took great strides in meeting safely in-person each month during a year that was unconventional for most leadership programs. This group of individuals was dedicated, engaged, and showed a real desire for community awareness,” said Andy Williams, 2021 Chair and Executive Director, Visit Roswell, in a news release. “We’re proud of their accomplishments this year and know they’ll continue to contribute greatly to North Fulton in the years to come.”

A major component of the program includes leaving a legacy in the community by completing a team project on behalf of a local nonprofit organization. As their chosen project, the Leadership North Fulton class of 2021 built and delivered 20 handmade student desks to Hembree Springs
Elementary School to aid in virtual learning.

“Leadership North Fulton taught me ways to contribute to my community and leave a lasting impact for others,” said Alex Battle, North Fulton CID, in the release. “I’m thankful for the new relationships with my classmates and everyone that made this program possible.”
