ArtAround Tour To Bring New Sculptures to Roswell
Nine new temporary artworks will be placed around the Roswell community after a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 18.

ROSWELL, GA — Residents of Roswell will see some new outdoor artworks next month, when the Roswell Arts Fund premieres its fourth annual ArtAround Roswell Sculpture Tour. Each year, ArtAround Roswell features original works of art on display throughout the community. New, temporary sculptures will join 10 permanent ArtAround Roswell pieces purchased from previous tours.
This year's sculptures were selected based on criteria including quality, diversity and how the sculpture would spark conversation and activate spaces, accordin g to the Arts Fund. Other factors included size, safety and aesthetics.
Emma Chammah, Roswell Art Fund’s public art consultant, facilitated the selection. “Art in public spaces is a communal experience that strengthens the community," she said. "That’s why it’s just as important for the selection of the art to be a community-based process. ArtAround Roswell does exactly that in convening an engaging and diverse group of community members to discuss, debate and select unique, thought-provoking art work.”
