Atlanta Jazz Chorus To Perform At Roswell Roots Festival
The concert serving as the kick off event for the 18th annual festival will be held Jan. 27.

From The City of Roswell: Roswell Presbyterian Church will host the Atlanta Jazz Chorus to provide their popular harmonious sounds and serve as the kick-off event of the 18thAnnual Roswell Roots Festival. The Atlanta Jazz Chorus (AJC) will perform during Roswell Presbyterian Church’s Jazz Vespers Event, under the direction of Dr. Dwight Andrews on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 4 p.m.
The program will feature spiritually inspired jazz works from artists such as Duke Ellington, Jon Hendricks, and Bobby McFerrin. In addition to the AJC, the accompanying band will include accomplished artists such as Tyrone Jackson on piano, Billy Thornton on bass, Larry Wilson on drums, Ralph Miles Jones and Will Scruggs on sax, Don McIntosh on trumpet, and Dr. Andrews on reeds.
Roswell Presbyterian Church is located at 755 Mimosa Blvd. Roswell, GA 30075. This event is free and open to the public.
