Centennial Students Win Arts Awards

Centennial High School students submitted 18 works of art and 13 were shown at the Georgia National Fair this week. Here are some of the accomplishments they registered at the event:

• Kevin Schoenblum earned First Place in Multimedia (pictured) as well as the “There’s Magic in the Fair” Special Award.
• First Place in B&W Photography went to Evan Alden, and First Place Color Photography to Roni Ellingsworth.
• Ulises Garcia took Second Place in Color Photography, Third Place in Altered Photography, and Third Place in B&W Photography.
• Hope Tavani took Third Place in Pen and Ink.
• Works by Morgan Kearney, Alex Watts, Tatyana Dzyura, Caio De Melo, and Emile Hanes were selected to show at the Fair which is also a big honor.
