City, Keep Roswell Beautiful Host Do-It-Yourself Rain Barrel Sale

Residents will receive all materials needed to build a rain barrel, including a 55-gallon food grade drum and the fittings to attach it.

ROSWELL, GA — The City of Roswell and Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) will host a Do-It-Yourself Rain Barrel sale from Tuesday, June 18 through Saturday, June 29.

Roswell residents will receive all the materials needed to build a rain barrel, including a 55-gallon food grade drum and the fittings to attach it to a downspout. The only tool participants will need at home to construct the barrel is a drill. Residents will also need a 4-door sedan or larger vehicle (with an empty backseat or cargo area) to transport the barrel home.

Rain barrel kits can be purchased online at https://www.keeproswellbeautiful.org/rainbarrel/ and picked up during regular business hours at the Roswell Recycling Center from June 18-29. Kits are $30 and limited to only one per household.
