Coronavirus Forces Roswell Municipal Court To Temporarily Close

According to city officials, the courthouse will be closed starting Wednesday due to a court employee testing positive for COVID-19.

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell Municipal Court will shut down for three days this week after a court employee has tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to city officials, the courthouse will be closed this Wednesday through Friday to allow time for employees who may have come into contact with the positive employee to be tested.

A spokesperson for the city said the infected court worker had no contact with members of the public per the most recent CDC contract-tracing guidelines.

City officials said court staff are in the process of contacting people with court dates during the affected days to reschedule.

The Roswell Municipal Court expects to be fully open and operational next week, city officials said.
