Football Seasons End for Roswell Teams

The Roswell Hornets didn't have much of a chance of reaching the playoffs.

But their chance at having at least a .500 season ended with a 33-14 loss to Walton in their final game.

The Hornets won two of their first three games and ended up with a 4-6 record.

One of those early wins came against Centennial, which closed out a long season Friday with a 23-22 loss to Chattahoochee.

The Knights were 1-9 in 2013 -- their only win came against Johns Creek, which went 0-10. But Friday's loss was one of three that was decided by a very close margin.

Fellowship Christian turned in a 5-5 record. The Paladins had a chance to make it a winning season, but lost to Christian Heritage 27-24 on Friday in overtime.

Alpharetta and Milton are among the North Fulton teams that earned playoff berths.
