She was a leader in the marching band's color guard and a lifeguard at Swim Atlanta. She was also characterized as someone who had a talent for singing, loved playing guitar and a "lover of animals who volunteered countless hours to animal rescue."

"Natalie had a loving heart and an infectious zest for life," the obituary reads. "Unusual for one so young, she had the courage to always be unapologetically herself. Natalie will forever be loved and missed by all whose lives she touched."

Davis was a rising senior at River Ridge High School where he loved playing lacrosse, his obituary notes. Most of his teammates referred to the athlete as "Coach Carter." His parents, Jeremy and Michele Davis released a statement Thursday of their son's passing:

“Carter Davis was the most loving, passionate, full of life young man," the Davises said. "Whether he was dribbling a soccer ball, throwing a football, or making a fast break in lacrosse, Carter's athleticism and passion for team sports was evident. His competitive spirit on and off the field gave him the drive to excel not only in sports, but also in academics.

"His smile was a warm hug that embraced the room. It mattered not whether we lived in South Dakota, Colorado, or Georgia, Carter made friends easily and touched so many of us. Although his life was cut short, everyone in his life will remember how he loved the Lord, loved everyone, and told them often. He lived life to the fullest. We ask you to respect our privacy as we try to heal.”

Henderson is survived by parents, Suzanne and Matthew Henderson; sister Rachael; grandparents Virginia and Gerald Pryor and Jean and Mack Henderson; aunts and uncles Jill Pryor and Edward Krugman, Karen and Cary Henderson, and Jaime and Burleigh Leonard; cousins Pryor and Lilah Krugman, Kristen and Kyle Henderson, and Jessie and Katie Leonard; great aunt and uncle Carole and Robert Madden; and godparents Sharon and Ken Morselander.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help the Davis family pay for funeral-related expenses for their beloved son. As of 11:50 a.m. Aug. 4, the account has raised a little more than $16,000.

Roswell resident Jeffrey A. Hazelwood, 20, has been charged with two counts of murder in the shooting deaths of both teenagers. Their bodies were discovered around 6 a.m. Aug. 1 behind Publix at 885 Woodstock Road in Roswell.

Hazelwood will be transported to the Fulton County Jail where he will await his bond hearing.
