Hardscrabble Green Loop Complete Street Project Finished
The Hardscrabble Green Loop is a segment of the Roswell Loop, which will eventually connect the City's parks and schools with sidewalks.

ROSWELL, GA — The City of Roswell hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 31celebrating the completion of the Hardscrabble Green Loop Complete Street project.
The Hardscrabble Green Loop is a segment of the Roswell Loop, which will eventually connect all of the City’s parks and schools with sidewalks and trails. This project added a 10-foot multi-use path on the south side of the road, a 5-foot sidewalk on the north side of the road, and 4-foot bike lanes between King Road and Etris Road. A new roundabout at Hardscrabble Road/Chaffin Road has replaced the former traffic signal at that location. There are also now bike shoulders and a sidewalk added to Chaffin Road from Hardscrabble to Northgate Trace.
The total cost of this project was $5.8 million and was funded jointly by the Federal Highway Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation, and the City of Roswell.
