How to Stage Your Home for Sale

Award-winning interior designer and professional home stager provides sellers with the tools to flip a listing into a sale

With more than 20 years of interior design experience, Jan Britt knows how to create high-end looks on a modest budget. Her course, Staging Your Home for Resale, will provide sellers with the tools to flip a listing into a sale. This course is part of the series of home decorating classes offered by KSU’s College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) where Britt has been teaching for more than 15 years.

Beginning on September 13, Staging Your Home for Resale will introduce techniques for sellers seeking their selling experience and return on investment. This course will teach sellers to create more space in the home, reduce clutter, and use existing furniture to enhance home viewings for potential property buyers.

Britt began her career in 1993. She is an award-winning interior designer and professional home stager. Her work has also been featured on HGTV and other TV and radio shows. In 2016, the Georgia Adult Education Association honored Britt with the "Outstanding Adult Educator" award for her dedication, commitment and contribution to education. Her additional course offerings at KSU include two levels of Decorating and Design for the Home (The Basics and Beyond the Basics) and Holiday Decorating Ideas.
