'Lollipops for Breakfast' Puppet Show Comes To Roswell
The performance by the Gottabees will feature a blend of puppetry, dance and a small amount of acrobatics.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Cultural Arts Center’s Family Series will present the delightful show, “Lollipops for Breakfast,” on May 11 and 12. The show will be performed by the Boston-based troupe, The Gottabees, who are among the most creative and original performers working in the puppetry field today.
Their shows have won a UNIMA-USA Citation of Excellence – the highest honor in the field of puppetry – and grants from the Jim Henson Family Foundation and Puppeteers of America.
“Lollipops” features a blend of puppetry, dance, and tiny bit of acrobatics – all set to live musical accompaniment – and follows a little girl named Sylvie and her trusty sidekick on a magical adventure complete with giant candy machines and pop-up cookbooks.

The Gottabees have been making fun and original theater for families since 2013 and have sold out numerous venues throughout the US and Canada. Their shows are often stories told without words, and the result is a poetic, non-linear story that surprises audiences.
In Roswell, The Gottabees will present three performances of “Lollipops for Breakfast”: Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. and Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Gottabees will also host a “Mini-Me Puppet-Making Workshop” at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11.
