Mary Elizabeth Paris, 12, Dies Following 'Extensive' Battle With Leukemia

A celebration of life service for the Milton resident and Roswell United Methodist Church member will be held Sept. 9.

Mary Elizabeth Paris, age 12, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, after an extensive battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

A Celebration of her life will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the sanctuary at Roswell United Methodist Church.

Mary Elizabeth was a 7th grader at Hopewell Middle School and a member of Roswell United Methodist Church. She enjoyed participating in choir at Roswell United Methodist and dance with RISPA. Mary Elizabeth had a selfless, loving, and faithful demeanor; a true giving spirit. Her courage provided inspiration and encouragement to everyone she met. She was a perfect sister, daughter, and friend.

Mary Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Steve and Mandi Paris; sister and brother, Maddy and Whit Paris. Grandparents: Joe and Judy Posey; Warner and Shirley Paris; and Jeane Paris. Great-grandparents: Joe Bacon and Mary Posey.

Mary Elizabeth’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the sanctuary at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Boulevard Roswell, Georgia 30075.
