In Memory: Earnie Rogers, 54, Devoted Member of Zion Baptist Church

Earnest "Earnie" Miles Rogers, age 54, passed to eternal life on April 5, 2016.

He was born on April 24, 1961. He is a graduate of Roswell High School class of 1979 and was a devoted member of Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded by his mother, Marion Metts Rogers.

He leaves behind his father Roosevelt Rogers Sr., brother Roosevelt Rogers Jr., wife Linda Rogers, sister Vance Darlene Stroman and her husband Paul A. Thompson, younger sister Barbara Nicole Rogers, niece Erica O. Pinkett, nephew Tyler Ray and a slew of uncles, cousins, and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Zion Baptist Church at 888 Zion Circle in Roswell at 1 p.m. Monday, April 11. Dr. Willie Caldwell will officiate.

He will be placed in state at the church at noon. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors at  12050 Crabapple Road in Roswell.

Interment will follow the service at Green Lawn Cemetery.
