In Memory: Nathan Alan Hamby, 32, Kind Mechanic Who Loved Music

Hamby, who attended Roswell High School, also loved spending time with his brothers and sister and playing video games.

Nathan Alan Hamby, 32 years old passed away Feb. 4, 2016 in Roswell, GA. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 3, 1983, in Atlanta.

He grew up in Roswell and attended Roswell High School. Previously, he lived in Doraville and Athens before residing in Roswell.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Lewis Hamby; father, Vic Hamby; brothers, Victor Hamby and Alex Hamby; sister, Meredith Hamby; grandmother, Jada Mann Lewis; and step-grandparents, Robert & Deborah Hamby. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family will dearly miss him.

He was a beautiful, funny, kind, honest, and big hearted young man who will be missed by all that had the wonderful opportunity to know him. He loved spending time with his brothers and sister playing video games and listening to music. He was a mechanic at Napa Auto Center in Woodstock.

Services will be held at Northside Chapel in Roswell Tuesday, Feb. 9. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. and the service will start at 1 p.m.
