In Memory: Patricia Ann Cox, Dedicated Time To Grandchildren, Volunteer Work

After a lengthy and courageous fight, Patricia Ann Cox of Roswell passed into Heaven on Nov. 20, 2015.

She leaves behind two children, Kellie Cox of Roswell, GA, and Jeff Cox of Acworth, GA. Pat is also survived by her daughter-in-law; Wanda Cox, grandson; Zach Cox, and granddaughter; Maggie Cox, all of Acworth. Her loving sister, Catherine Anderson, resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins are scattered from California to New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Oklahoma, Ohio and of course, Georgia.

Her parents, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Maggie Leader of Coshocton, Ohio and Boca Raton, Florida, precede Pat in death.

After retiring from Wachovia Bank in 1998, Pat spent generous time with her two grandchildren and committed the balance of her schedule to volunteer work and senior citizen organizations.

Until her illness, she was an active member of Ramblin’ Roses Red Hat Group, the Roswell Adult Center’s Bridge Club and the center’s line dancing group. Pat’s volunteer work included, but was not limited to, the Republican Party, Candy Stripers, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society and the Fulton County Registration and Elections Department.

Pat was truly a beautiful person, inside and out. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
