Mojo Vinyl Named One Of The Best Record Stores In U.S.

ROSWELL, GA — Mojo Vinyl Records in Roswell, has been named one of the Best Record Stores in the United States by the Vinyl Me, Please music company. Of the thousands of U.S. record stores, only 175 nationwide and five in Georgia earned this recognition based on the variety and quality of records sold, as well as each store’s unique shopping and listening experience.

Founded in 2011, the store has become a mainstay of downtown historic Roswell. The majority of Mojo Vinyl’s records are vintage and import pressings, with many new reissues. The store also stocks a full line of Audio Technica turntables, cartridges, and accessories, as well as select vintage stereo equipment. Weekly specials include “Two-Buck Tuesday” and “The Wednesday Special.” Additionally, the store hosts weekly Friday afternoon listening parties featuring a new release or classic pressing. The store may be best known for its annual Record Store Day celebration and “Mojopalooza” festival featuring live music, food, and drink. This year’s event will take place on April 18.

Vinyl Me, Please published a cloth-bound, colorful coffee table book celebrating all of the Best Record Stores in the United States, with a foreword by world-renowned DJ and musician, Mark Farina.
