Old Alabama Road Closes Temporarily For Emergency Repairs

The City of Roswell said repairs are expected to be completed in four to seven days.

ROSWELL, GA — All northbound lanes of Old Alabama Road, from Riverside Road to the roundabout, are closed Tuesday afternoon after emergency repairs began on a sinkhole that developed in the area.

In a release, the city said residents who live in Riverwalk will still be able to go to and from their homes.

Barriers will be erected Tuesday afternoon to completely close all northbound lanes of River Rapids Drive. City officials ask that drivers do not drive around barriers lest they risk their safety.
