Passenger Killed In Roswell Crash Laid To Rest

Buddy "Chris" Ramsey, 51, died Aug. 14 when a truck collided with a utility pole along Hardscrabble Rod.

ROSWELL, GA -- On Thursday, friends and family gathered to say goodbye to the man who died in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week in Roswell. Funeral services for Buddy "Chris" Ramsey, 51, were held Aug. 17 at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming.

Ramsey, who lived in Cumming, was killed Aug. 14 was a passenger in a pickup truck that collided with a utility pole on Hardscrabble Road between King Road and Highway 92. He was buried at Pine Top Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville.

According to Ramsey's obituary, he is survived by his wife, Vicky; mother, Paulette Dyer Ramsey; and son, John Ramsey. He was predeceased by his father, Buddy Ramsey, the obituary adds.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Roswell Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Unit.
