The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

We are a five-year-old independently owned signs and graphics shop in Roswell, Georgia. We are traditionally focused on B2B sign and graphics projects offering design, permitting, fabrication, installation and service to our clients. We are currently open as a strategic supply chain partner to the many essential businesses in our communities who need to share information through signs and graphics with the public.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

Overall the effects have been stifling. Fortunately we came into this event with a fairly robust pipeline. We've chosen to support our employees and clients to the greatest extent possible by maintaining our staff at full employment and our clients by being open, helping communicate and educate on changes cities have made relative to temporary signage ordinances and quickly fulfilling signage needs.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

Please know we are open and ready to help clients share information with the public regarding being open, new hours, new services such as curbside pickup, new rules of engagement and visitation, graphics for delivery and/or construction vehicles and signage for businesses to be ready when our economy rebounds.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

As difficult has this event has been we know we will come out the other side stronger. It's critically important we pay attention to and follow the guidance of medical experts and our city, state and country leaders to ensure we beat the virus and get our economy back on track as soon as possible.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

We understand the critical needs of our essential business partners to communicate with the public. To help meet those needs, Signs Of Significance is waiving fees for services such as design, expediting turnaround times and local deliveries.

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

I'd like to recognize the outstanding work being done to support local businesses by organizations like Roswell Inc., the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the Alpharetta Business Association. Thank you all!
