A decision on whether to move ahead with city-sponsored events on Sunday will be made early Dec. 10. On the weather side, the Roswell Police Department urged residents to avoid traveling Saturday morning. Crews were also working to restore power to customers, and some roads were still slick in some spots.
"Our 911 center is starting to receive a lot of calls notifying us of downed trees and power lines because of the weight of the snow," Roswell police said on its Facebook page. "Please be patient and use 911 for emergencies."
