ROSWELL, GA — Throughout the month of October, the City of Roswell and the Roswell Arts Fund (RAF) are joining thousands of arts organizations and communities across the nation to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month.

The national event was initiated to encourage Americans to explore new facets of arts and humanities in their lives and communities.

Roswell’s RPHCA (Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs) department and RAF have organized a number of activities that honor the efforts of artists, historians, teachers, and cultural groups working to make the arts and humanities a part of everyday life. Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate in what has become the country’s largest annual collective celebration of the arts and humanities.
