ROSWELL, GA — The City of Roswell will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Hardscrabble Green Loop Complete Street project on Wednesday, July 31, at 11:30 a.m. at Roswell High School, 11595 King Road. The ceremony is open to the public and will take place at the school’s bus entrance at Hardscrabble Road.

The Hardscrabble Green Loop is a segment of the Roswell Loop, which will eventually connect all of the City’s parks and schools with sidewalks and trails. A new roundabout at Hardscrabble Road/Chaffin Road has replaced the former traffic signal at that location. There are also now bike shoulders and a sidewalk added to Chaffin Road from Hardscrabble to Northgate Trace.

The total cost of this project was $5.8 million and was funded jointly by the Federal Highway Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation, and the City of Roswell.
