Police Locate Roswell Man Reported Missing (UPDATED)

Police say Roger Malm, 86, who has diabetes and dementia, was located Tuesday morning.

UPDATE at 10:40 a.m.: Roswell police say Roger Malm, 86, was located Tuesday morning.

"He is healthy and well," the agency added. "His family is on their way to reunite with him in Covington."

Police are searching for an 86-year-old Roswell man who has been reported missing by his family.

Roger J. Malm, who lives in the Willow Springs subdivision off Old Alabama Road, last spoke with family members by phone at around 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3. Roswell police note Malm has not been seen or had any contact with family members since that time.

He is assumed to be traveling in his 2002 green Ford Explorer SportTrac with Georgia license plate BLW6684.

"Malm has a previous residence in Dunwoody, and is familiar with the metro Atlanta area due (to) his work in auto parts delivery," Roswell police added.

Malm also has medical conditions, including diabetes and advancing dementia. He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair. Anyone with information about Malm's whereabouts or see his vehicle is asked to call 911 or the Roswell Police Department at 770-640-4100.
