Roswell Man Arrested When K9 Finds Him After He Ran From Police
A 33-year-old man robbed a gas station and a nearby hotel, then ran from police through the PGA Store parking lot before a K9 caught him.

ROSWELL, GA — A Roswell man was arrested after he led police on a crime spree chase which ultimately ended with a K9 finding him.
Roswell Police tracked down and arrested Loubens Jeanpierre, 33, of Roswell Sunday night for armed robbery, aggravated assault, battery, robbery by intimidation, fleeing and attempting to elude, and possession of cocaine.
At 3:30 a.m., Jeanpierre committed an armed robbery and aggravated assault at the Shell Gas Station, 1100 Holcomb Bridge Rd., police said. He fled the store after assaulting the clerk. He then went to the Comfort Inn, 1500 Market Blvd., where he robbed the clerk of cash and fled the hotel in a car.

A sergeant saw the suspected vehicle and saw him changing clothes in a parking lot behind a building. Police officers responded to the crime scene and tracked Jeanpierre down within minutes, effectively ending his crime spree.
He traveled through the parking lot of the PGA Store, 1005 Holdcomb Woods Parkway, before driving up a large embankment. He then fled on foot and attempted to hide, police said.

Alpharetta Department of Public Safety sent K9 Karlo to assist, and it found Jeanpierre in some bushes.
The stolen money was found in his backpack and returned to the hotel.
